Debden Arena Recreation

Debden Arena

The first arena was built in 1956 and the current arena was opened in February 1983.  It is a Natural Ice arena.

Debden Minor Hockey Programs

Debden has a thriving hockey program that consists of teams from all age groups. The youngest groups, I.P., Novice and Atoms teams are comprised of boys from the area. We have children from the communities of Canwood, Shell Lake and Big River First Nation playing under Debden Minor Hockey. The towns of Debden and Big River joined together to enter teams at the Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget levels. All our teams play in the S.T.E.P. league.
